Their shrimp stuffed poblana is wonderful! The portions are very generous and the view great. I keep returning.

We keep returning to La Cueva de Leon for its generous and well made green salad. Never watery, it allows us to savor the fresh taste of the vegetables and vinaigrette sauce.

And comes with a fantastic view, especially at sunset. Located on Olas Altas, where there is a full block of good eateries all with about 4 sidewalk tables each, this place is right next to the bike rental. Well known for generous portions and reasonable pricing. Five large size coconut shrimp with a spicy mango sauce and a side of spanish... More

We were looking for a place to eat near old town Mazatlan when we ran into a volunteer tourist adviser. Looked like a retired gentleman from the US who lives part of the year in Mexico. He has tons of useful information and gave us a breakdown of different options on where to eat. We ended up at La Cueva... More

Location is fantastic, right across the street from the beach. The food is average, the prices are right, and several Americans and Canadians can be found every day having a bite to eat.

Great shrimp, but cold vegetables. Ho hum service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice view of the ocean.

We had eaten here last year and decided to try it again. Everyone had a great meal (there were 6 of us). My husband and I had the skirt steak and it was VERY tender. The prices were so reasonable. I'm sure we will eat here again when we visit Mazatlan!

If you walk to the old beach front, stop at this place for lunch. Good value and service. Well prepared food. Fair pricing.

We ate lunch here and the restaurant was directly across the street from the ocean. Recommend the Cobb salad and Arrachera (skirt steak). Only issue with eating outside was the noise from the vehicles.
