pork torta is good tasting and great value. Service is also good. Sidewalk musician is a character, that tries hard.

The concierge at our restaurant recommended this place when we inquired about a local, "real" Mexican food place. It was exactly what we were looking for. Relaxed atmosphere, outdoor seating, good enchiladas, attentive wait staff, all for a very low price.
I had the beef fajitas. Well prepared, good service. Ambience is not upscale rather very local and traditional. Magician was a nice touch as the end. Geotag: http://maps.google.com/?source=friendlink&q=16.861319,-99.879885(El%20Zorrito)
We go there often for a late night pork torta.
They give you corn chips and salsa to start.
The torta is huge with a lot of meat. Almost a meal in itself. And cheap. Maybe 35 pesos?
Service has always been very fast, although not overly friendly. Serious and efficient.
If you have enough people at your table to...

We went into the El Zorito located across from the Emporio Hotel. I ordered a steak and my companion ordered something else. Several minutes later she advised me that the waiter had just removed the steak marinating in the sun on the sidewalk from the display and was taking it to the kitchen. I yelled at the waiter and inquired...

Went with a group of 6. We all had different things and were all happy. I had chicken fajitas that were very good and well seasoned with freshly made flour sift shells. Truly good. Had a fun time and would highly recommend despite having to remind waiter several times about drinks and refills. service saved at the end by one...

El Zorrito was another place our taxi driver 'highly' recommended, which he probably gets a kick back from, see my review on Su Casa Restaurant. The lousiest Mexican food we ever had, price is inexpensive, but you'll find a better Mexican place in Brooklyn than here. Don't go.
After a horrifying deep sea fishing experience... a taxi driver who took us to the market to set us up with an overly aggressive sales person named Nelly... I just wanted to be left alone. Zorritos was awesome... the food was generous, good.... cheap... and perfect... I would recommend it to everyone...!
After all the reviews on this site, I was excited to take our big group to El Zorrito for some local flavor. Our cab driver said "Meh..." when we asked if it was good food, but we persisted. Upon arriving, we were excited at the open picnic/outdoor feel of the place. But the food was really really really plain. My...

After spending several winters in Acapulco, saturday was my first time in "El Zorrito". I will certainly return there. The food was tasty and portions generous. The price was honest. One sign of good places to eat in Acapulco is how full the place is. El Zorrito was crowded with many Mexicans and a few tourists at 9 PM.... very...
