Didn't know anything about Chihuahua prior to my recent trip to the Copper Canyon. My travel agent mentioned La Casona.
This restaurant is within a couple of blocks from the Quality Inn / the old San Francisco Hotel. I understood that the restaurant was upper scale, but was pleasantly surprised by the meal served at this restaurant.

I had dinner at La Casona the night before leaving for my trip to Copper Canyon.
Service was very good, all waiters have been very keen and willing to make it a nice dinner.
Decor is nice and even a bit luxurious.
Food and wine have been good: nothing memorable but definitely satisfying.

An nice restaurant set in an old Casona with an old-money smell.
Good ambiance, good service, nice contemporary mexican cuisine in a lovely place with a lot of history behind it, Estate of wealthy Don Luis Terrazas in the begining of the past century.
