Bismark, located across from the famous Malecon (boardwalk) in La paz is worth the visit. With both outdoor and indoor seating available, it is not only a "tourist attraction", but is in fact a very popular local eating spot. Bismark is noted for its seafood, and with good reason. All the dishes we have experience there have been tasty, well... More

Service is a bit slow, but the restaurant is a friendly and pleasant place to stop. Great fish whenever I have eaten here and not pricey. Terrific location on the Malecon.

This restaurant is all things fish and it is very good indeed. The food is very fresh and tasty. The first time we tried it, we had omelets - shrimp omelet was faboulous (it was breakfast time) but I watched a large Mexican family tuck into tacos being freshly prepared to order, so the next day, I tried them. I... More

We have eaten here several times and thoroughly enjoy this restaurant. Located right on the Malecon. The dishes we have enjoyed were the Huachanago, the fish soup, the grilled fish with garlic. We did not enjoy the grilled chocolate almejas because they were overcooked but that was the only disappointing dish ever served at this restaurant. I was very impressed... More

Situated on the Malecon, this would seem the ideal place to watch the sun go down. Sadly, not so! The restaurant is on the ground floor across the major road from the beach and is a popular parking spot for large SUVs and trucks. You'll get the food but not the view. Friendly service, if a little unfocussed. Starters and... More

I have been here a couple of time and the fish was always good. Located on the malecon across from the water with street side tables. Check out the stuffed fish with shrimp, peppers and cheese. Had to find anything else like it.

We liked it so much the first time, we went back 2 days later. The fresh fish was prepared in a variety of interesting and tasty ways, margaritas are pretty good, beer is cold, service is professional and very friendly. On Sunday we enjoyed watching the beautifully dressed Mexican ladies with their attentive families . The fish tacos looked so... More
