The Blue Room chicken is absolutely delicious - was recommended to us by GHB locals. Definitely a place to go when you want good food; they are not out to lure in tourists!
We loved this very simple, blue room. The food was delicious, again, simple but very good and the restaurant itself was very clean. We had chicken and peas and rice. This is a typical food of the Bahamas and we enjoyed it very much.

Don't be put off by the looks of the place. I mean, it is just a blue room. But a very clean blue room. Blue on the outside, and the same blue inside, with a tile floor, old formica tables, a little fake wood paneling as an added touch. When you enter there is a small, but no longer functioning...

Unpretentious, clean place, eat in or take - out (the latter seems at least half their business). Good for quick lunches or take-out at reasonable prices.
Basic island "fast food" - burgers, chicken, hot dogs, plus a few daily or weekly "specials", which are usually complete meals: meat loaf, stews, fried chicken, chowders, etc.
