We love going to Red Beard's. The food is also good, the portions are more than filling and the friendly staff makes you feel at home. As a local, we eat there 3-4 times per month. Brian and team are always ready to please.

An associate of mine introduced me to Red Beard's specifically because he knew that I wasn't afraid of the dark when it came to beer (and by the way, for those who also have no fear, make sure to try a Strong Back Stout while you are there as well!). It turns out that the Bahamain Brewing Company makes a... More

Red Bear's was a pretty good place. Hogfish was new to me, and it wasn't bad, but might have been cooked a minute or two less. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I'd like to try again to see if some other dishes might be wonderful. Not terribly expensive, and seems like a good place for a casual meal and... More

We love this relaxed funky bar restaurant, especially the crab and crawfish which is slightly spicy. The service is friendly and attentive. My only gripe - please clean the windows on the deck - they are filthy!

We ate here once on our trip. It was good, but not sure what all the stellar reviews are about. I had the burger and my husband had the fish sandwich. Both were pretty good. We sat outside and so there was a view of the marina, which was good. Inside the atmosphere is just Ok and frankly the outside... More

Thank you Amy and Joe for your review. As I have stated in other replies to reviews that have been posted; this is a very old building and I do not own it I only rent and unfortunately the Landlord does not take care of it so that is out of my control. However what is under my control is... More

WOW,I totally disagree, Red Beard's Pub is by far the best restaurant and pub to go to in Freeport. MY husband and I and our daughter always go to Red Beard's Pub and Brian and Debbie are always friendly and make time to talk to us. It is always clean, has the best staff and especially the best food on... More

We thought from the brochure this would be a fun place to take the kids. It's extremely run down and after seeing the inside and the outside deck where you can dine at either, we decided to leave and go someplace else. Not the cleanest looking place.

I remember the night that you and your family visited our Pub. You came in and were greeted by our waitress and you told her that you just wanted to look around. I remember you having a seat on our deck and stopping by to say hello and see if there was anything I could get for you. I even... More

An employee of the resort we were staying at, as well as the owner of a local bakery, both referred me to Red Beard's Pub as one of the best places to eat in Freeport so our group of 19 decided to go there for dinner. Couldn't have been more pleased. If you're looking for fancy, don't go. This is... More

It's always an interesting mix of locals and visitors at Red Beards, which in turn always makes for an interesting evening (in a good way!). This place has the best food - their burgers are massive, delicious flat bread pizzas and their veggie lasagna is the best deal on the island. Don’t forget to order a few Red Beard Ale's... More
