My husband and I ate here twice. The food was pretty good ( I had a chicken platter one time which was good and the other time I had a vegetable curry platter which was not that good) - the prices varied across the menu - some things I thought were reasonable (like the sandwhiches) but other (like the salads... i was not impressed. a greek salad, conch fritter appetizer, two beverages and a gyro ended up costing $40 for a lunch. our server rarely checked on us. i had to ask for the bill at the end of the meal. the food was okay, conch fritters were good, but overall i did not feel we got the value of... We had lunch at Freeport, and this was our favorite meal throughout the Bahamas. If you are feeling adventurous but don't want to travel too far out of the major touristy areas (which honestly is most of Freeport), the After Deck will treat you well. The Conch chowder and conch fritters are particularly tasty, but everything that we tried in... More

My husband and I came to Freeport on a cruise. We stopped at Port Lucaya to eat and shop. We ate at After Deck for a late lunch. It was really hot and the service was really slow. I did not think that any of the staff were particularly friendly. We waited at least 30 minutes for our food and... More

We went here for dinner after eating at many places throughout the week. We first stepped inside the bar area and were greeted by the hostess - not very friendly. When our waitress came over with menus, we asked if they had a drink menu. Our waitress curtly responded that all they served was four types of wine. We specifically... More

It was a windy evening, so we asked to sit inside. We were seated promptly with menus. However, afterwards we were forgotten. Much like another reviewer, the wait staff kept passing us by for 15 minutes. No water, no offer to bring us a drink, etc. We were prepared for a slow and casual dinner, but this place takes "Bahama... More

Stopped in to the After deck for breakfast after finding the doors locked at 8:15am at my "Highly Rated" hotel The food was great. The attitude of the staff was a welcomed ray of sunshine! I thinl I'll give it a try for dinner.

The wait staff kept passing me over after I had been waiting for twenty minutes. When I finally got my food, I was disappointed to find the conch fritters were mushy and greasy and the peas and rice were salty.

Genetta made us feel welcome at the after deck! The guava pancakes were great! She made the trip fun! We will be sure to return soon!
