Sitting at the edge of the water, viewing the activity of St. John's main port, and having enthusiastic and competent servers makes this restaurant worth the island prices. The fish choices were exceptionally good; the wine selection very satisfactory. The pate appetizer was bountiful and excellent.

I spent a day in St. John's, traveling over from a destination wedding on St. Thomas. After a morning of snorkeling and sight-seeing, I looked for a spot for a late Sunday brunch before catching the ferry back. I came upon Waterfront Bistro right on the bay in beautiful downtown Cruz Bay - lovely establishment just on the water's edge.... More

Stopped in for early bite and a drink. The pommes frittes were great! Drizzled with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese...wife doesn't usually eat fries but loved these! Also had hummus which was good as well. We've eaten meals here before and dinner is excellent but also keep in mind for drinks and appetizers. Great view of harbor and sunset.

Food was good but menu wasn't French Carribean as described. Seems like most places have the same menu in St John.

You can't find a better spot, right on the beach near the ferry for sunset viewing. Fabulous mojitos! Wonderful Rib-eye. Great selection of seafood too! We have heard from others that they have a super BLT w/ arugula.

This is the finest waterfront dining we've experienced. It is elegant and romantic...dress up and the sunset is exquisite...so go at sunset. The service is top notch and worldly. The food will be the finest in the islands...very delicate sauces, very french. Get any of the fish dishes....they have their own boats and fisherman. It is one place that the... More

Small, with great service and fabulous food. We went back just to sit at the bar for sunset one evening.

Go early to get a table. Limited seating. Call for reservations if you can. We ate in the bar area. Extensive wine list. I drank Carib all week long.

This restaurant ranks with the best on St John. I had fresh Mahi Mahi and my wife had the filet. Both were done to perfection. This was the best filet we ever had on the island.

We ate here our first night in Cruz Bay. Had an excellent butternut squash soup, good drinks and desserts. Be prepared for your dining to be quite expensive in St. John!
