The only authentic tzitziki we have had since visiting Greece. We enjoyed speaking with Peter, the owner. Peter must be a mad genius; who else could have though of making Bakalava ice cream. Even if you do not like Greek food you must try this ice cream when you visit St. Croix.

We saw reviews on this site and others so decided to give it a try. We were welcomed like we'd known Peter....aka Papi all of our lives. The "something Rum" drink he concocted was to die for. The appetizers and meal were wonderful. There were a couple of other folks there for the first time so it was Orzo for... More

Peter: It was great to see you again this year. My annual monthly trip to St. C would not be complete without several visits to the Pickled Greek. This year I had two friends with me who had never visited St. C. Both of them were more than pleasantly impressed with the food, your gracious hospitality and the cozy, welcoming... More

Service was...interesting...a little funky. The apps (hummus, etc) were OK but the entrees did not live up to the billing on the menu. I'd say the atmosphere was a little dingy..not very pleasant.

Had dinner on a night with a little intermittant rain so we ate inside. The only (minor) negative was the interior decor, of which there isn't much. The Greek salad was excellent and plenty to split two ways. My wife & I both had the gyros. Excellent, with very well seasoned lamb. Served with too many French (Greek?) fries to... More

My wife and I recently enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Pickled Greek! We were in St Croix for the Ironman 70.3 triathlon and were staying at the Buccaneer. We read favorable reviews on trip advisor so decided to eat out and were not dissappointed. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but we were immediately welcomed by... More

We loved this place. My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch and we had such a great experience! Papi, the owner made us feel like family. He was so friendly and you have to try his home made baklava ice cream! Amazing! I will be back for more! Thanks papi!

On a recent visit to St. Croix from Arkansas, we heard there was an awesome Greek restaurant nearby and that someone who worked there was from Little Rock, Arkansas - so we had to go! Turns out, the owner, Peter Skrivanos is from Little Rock! And what a great guy! Small world! We had fantastic gyros for lunch and split... More

Trust the reviews, great food, reasonably priced, and a friendly owner. The meat in the gyro was among the best I have ever had. It was fresh, well-seasoned and moist. The baklava ice cream was a nice ending to the meal.

After a day at the beach, we wanted real food outside of a hotel. The Pickled Greek is relaxed and friendly with delicious Greek food. The food was fresh and the bar offered a nice selection of beer and wine. It was so refreshing to pay the bill and feel like it was worth it. I plan to go back... More
