I was with about 13 or 14 people staying on Tortola, but we took a Ferry boat to Virgin Gorda for the day and our cab driver hooked us up with this restauarant for lunch. Our table was ready for us when we got there, and we had a great lunch. The atmosphere was awesome. Open air restaurant built on... More

Oh, this was fun! Our last dinner of our 8 day Virgin Island vacation. They had a roast pork buffet which was the BEST pork ever! And right at water's edge. Enjoyed the cook/serve staff, and the Carib live music. Want to go back!!

We ate at this restaurant twice. Great location on the water, friendly wait staff. The barbequed chicken and ribs were very good and at very good prices. The key lime pie was outstanding and at a good price.

The restraunt was beautiful but the service was really slow (our food took about an hour). The seafood was good but the other meals were just ok. $5 charge for using credit cards really stinks when dropping a $100.

The food here is generally good (I don't recommend the weekly buffets), and not too expensive. And the location -- actually on the water -- is ideal. We had good sandwiches here, and the atmosphere was relaxed but with an attentive staff.

A special shout out to Mr. Das our taxi driver that suggested this piece of paradise to have our lunch. We all enjoyed lobster and our server Candy was a jem! As we were finishing our lunch, their fresh catch of Mahi Mahi and Yellowfin was just reeled in locally and being delivered.

We enjoy Mermaids and ate there twice during this years stay. They have updated the resturant since last year and changes are an improvement. The food was great and the service is wonderful. The view here is great! The one downside are the restrooms that are located upstairs in an old abandoned building (at the shore) with limited lighting. So... More

This restaurant is a gem. I traveled with a group and this was the only restaurant on the island that everyone was awed by our meals. Whether meat or seafood the comments were the same. It it hadn't been the last night I would have gone back every night. Location is on an old dock-hard to beat the view.
