We had the while place to ourselves as we were early and just sat taking in the breathtaking views. The food is all freshly cooked to order and is amazing.

Loved the banana drinks, and the staff was friendly and fun. We loved the view and will be back again next time we are in Tortola!

We spent two weeks on Tortola and ate here several times. Excellent breakfast omelets and wonderful dinners. The view makes the food taste even better! Make a reservation for the end of the porch around sunset time - you won't be disappointed.

We heard BananaKeet was the place to be for a sunset on Tortola, but that it could get very busy, so we arrived early (4:00 PM) as directed, and were surprised to be the only guests on the patio! It was perfect - like our own private view of Tortola and the surrounding islands. We settled in with a few... More

I'm going to be a bit of a broken record and echo the sentiments of other reviewers here - it's all about the view! The food was great, made more wonderful by an amazing view of the sunset. Yes, the service is very relaxed (a.k.a., island-time-slow) and you will probably sit well past the sun goes down, so plan to... More

Gorgeous deck for relaxing and chilling out. The food is fine to good and the service is very pleasantly mannered and friendly but painfully slow, even on island time. From arrival to check paid on a weeknight off-season took 3 hours. We were there from 630pm to 930pm. Thankfully, we had nowhere to go, had just arrived from a 6... More

And that is saying something. This cliff-top perch is a bit away from the madding crowd and has the feel of a discovered secret. The atmosphere is friendly, bustling and appreciative of the spectacular view below. We had fish of the day [there were 5 of us and we tried 3 fish cooked two different ways] and it was fresh... Like most other reviews stated the sunset viewed from the Bananakeet is incredible. We ordered a wide range of food( conch, swordfish, Brazilian beef, ahi tuna) and everyone enjoyed their meal. The only thing I think they could expand upon was a children's menu as two of the kids dining with us saw nothing they wanted to eat other than... More

Great food, I thought the spicy banana sauce accompanying the pork was one of the finest flavour sensations I have ever tasted (and that includes plenty of Michelin stars). You need a rail table to get the best of the view down the coastline, and arriving in good time for sunset would allow you to sample their cocktails (including a... More

This restaurant has an amazing view of Jost Van Dyke. Very friendly staff. The food was good but no where near the expectations I had due to the number of people who recommended this place to us. I do recommend you eat here just for the sunset view.
