I wouldn't call La Bodega a restaurant; at least, thats not why we went there. It is a small bar right on the beach with delicious an pleantiful tapas and very tasty sangria. We went twice for a plate of tapas and wine before visitng one of the area restaurants for dinner. The two guys that run the place are...

Given its waterfront location and favorable reviews, I was ready to love this place. But after we ordered, I noticed something odd written on the chalkboard behind the bar. A rough translation from the Spanish: "Islanders and Spaniards welcome. Gringos - see you later." I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised that we gringos got served a very bland paella...
