Super cool staff, great setting and beachside dining by hurricane lanterns give it an amazing tropical appeal. Only downside was my main course wasn't very hot.
Found this spot by chance. Sat on the beach where the waves literally touched my toes. Friendliest staff anywhere on the French side. Priced as expected. Food better than anticipated. We will return.
Sit on the sand with your feet in the water sipping something with rum in it. It doesn't get any better than this! Casual, laid-back place with good food.
The restaurant is at the beginning of Blvd de Grand Case. There is a parking lot across the street from it which generally has empty parking spots from what I understand. You walk to the side of the building to the back where you come up on the bar. We were there around 1pm on Saturday and got lucky with... More
we had spent several nights there drinking beer and cocktails, and found the staff nice ( just like the drinks ) it looks over the sea and at night its lit up plus they have a table just out in the sea,we did not have food but it looked good from what we saw people eating , will go back... More
Watch the sunset while sitting at the water's edge with your feet in the sand... that's the best part about Calmos Café in Grand Case. Lanterns on picnic tables illuminate this special spot. The wait staff are wonderful, the food is good, and the drinks are also good. If it starts to rain, duck under a thatched-roof palapa and sip... More
Did not eat here, but did have some wine and cooling coconut ice cream after getting a bit too hot on the beach. The guys working there were super nice and had great dispositions. They seemed to like being there and that you were there. Imagine, staff that actually like having customers! There are some tables that are right on... More
we stopped off here on a catamaran tour of the island and had to return by ourselves. It's beach cuisine, tapas, salads and an extensive fish menu, all with a French flavour. We chose from the daily specials. She had a smoked salmon salad with olives and toasted croutons and a crème fraiche dip, I had a filleted trigger fish... More
Calmos looks like a dive bar on the beach, but the food is great too. Where else can you get a great burger or local seafood SITTING ON THE SAND with tiki torches? They also have great live entertainment several nights a week.
