Wonderful food - excellent service - we will go back again and again. Manager is delightful and greets every customer. Totally 'hands on' - Impressive Do not miss this treat in the Caribbean It is not in Gros Islet - it is in Rodney Bay

Dear Barrie H, many thanks for awarding us a Michelin star, even if it is an unknown concept for Caribbean. It is an honour to be even mentioned in that level of restaurants. Thanks for appreciating our efforts to provide a fine Indian cuisine with equally good service. We will love to see you again and again. Warm regards, Chef... More

Very nice decor and very busy at night. The food was average but not as spicy as I know good Indian food to be but guess it was suited to the crowd. Ask for the fresh juices.

Dear AR09, Thanks for the confusing review. What was it? Good food as the title suggests or average as your review says? I have been trying to preach this about Indian cuisine with SOI.Please stop comparing the "goodness" of Indian cuisine with the heat and spiciness in the food. GOOD INDIAN FOOD IS NOT HOT AND SPICY ALWAYS. It can... More

While on honeymoon, my husband and I came across Spice of India by chance while in Rodney Bay. We decided to book a table for a Saturday night and mentioned we were on honeymoon when asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. On arrival at the restaurant the owner came out to greet us and take us to our... More

Exactly what we had in mind when this restaurant concept took birth. Home away from home.I would like my guest to feel comfortable at home here and we always will do dishes to suit your allergies, palate and taste even if they are not on the menu---as long as they are authentic Indian cuisine in nature. Your honeymoon is a special... More

Plenty of positives; Very good service, well price, good food, wifi, decor, attention to detail, good food & wine list, veterinarian options... It's certainly not lacking in any respects. Negatives... Be warned, you might be asked to leave a review yourself. Password also needs changing. Seriously Mr. Owner. There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance. The Lamb Rogan Josh... Dear Lensip, Thanks for ticking all the boxes. Your negatives noted as well. I mention tripadvisor.com to all my guest. In fact, lots of our patrons mention it to us before we could do it. So, whats the warning about? Yes, there is a password for wifi, it had to be something,so why not choose it to relate it to... More

This was an exceptional dining experience. Exquisite flavors, exceptional service, & authentic ambience. We enjoyed dinner & couldn't resist lunch days later. The meats, chicken, seafood & naan (all done a variety of ways), desserts, and chai tea offered fabulous flavors. I'm not a lover of pepper, but the curries are flavorful for any palate. This is a must visit... More

Dear Islanwoman, Thanks for visiting us for lunch and dinner both and enjoying the two different concepts of Indian cuisine. You are right. Indian food doesn't necessarily have to be hot in flavours unless asked for. One must be able to enjoy various spices which is what makes it an exotic cuisine. Thanks again for your recommendation. Best regards, Chef... More

Visited Spice of Indian last night and it was beautiful. I would certainly recommend the tandoori fish starter and the Chicken Vindaloo. The vindaloo was especially nice, not overly hot but very tasty, much nicer than I have experienced in the UK. My girlfriend had the seafood kebab and a lamb sagwala which she throughly enjoyed. The owner is a... More

This curry was one of the best we have ever had - highly recommended and deserves to stay at number 1 on Trip Advisor. Its clear the success of this restaurant is due to the excellent Manager and amazing food.
