Food was excellent, staff was super friendly. They made some food for us off the menu and it was great. Best part is the price, very reasonable. I see why it's the top trip advisor restaurant in gros islet!

Trip Advisor's no.1 restaurant and well deserved. Great food, the chef will cook food to your taste and the manager greeted you and introduced himself which was a nice touch. The staff were all first class and would definately recommend this restaurant..

Wow, read all the reviews on this place and they were all right. From the second I walked in until the left the service was flawless, friendly, and such a pleasure. But the food, wow! All I can say is its the best Indian I have eaten outside India. No wonder its number one!

Dear KATSYD, That has to be the best compliment for us.Our aim is to provide the most authentic Indian cuisine here in Caribbean, just like it is cooked at home in India. I am pleased to know that you thought so too. Have a great time in St Lucia. Best regards, Chef Adil. More

This restaurant came highly recommended. I'm on a medical diet and they cooked especially for me - adjusting the menu when necessary. The food was delicious, fresh flavours and beautifully cooked. The staff were very polite and helpful, smiling all the time - service was great.. The owner/chef Adil was charming and very helpful - nothing was too much trouble... More

We went for lunch one day and it was pleasantly busy. The menu was so good it was difficult to choose, but we did and thoroughly enjoyed our starter and mains. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this place to others.

Gohvid and the SOI team are unmatched in terms of service, friendliness and all-round hospitality. I visited the restaurant for lunch and went back for dinner...and if I wasn't leaving the next morning, I'd have eaten there again and again. The food is other-worldy; highly reflective of true Indian cuisine...and the ambience takes you to the East, although you're right... More

I'm originally from Rajasthan in India, and I've been cooking Indian food (both as a hobby and in restaurants) for 40 years or so and have to say that my meal there a few days ago was probably the best Indian meal I've eaten after more than 30 years living in the Caribbean. The location is convenient, the decor is... More
