Sol food is open when they want to be open... but well worth the effort to stop in! They have the Best empanada’s! The huge portions can sneak up on you - make sure not to over order!

Being I used to live in Portland, OR I have come to love food carts. So when looking at other reviews on here I saw this place and had to give it a try. I was not let down by there food. I ended up getting some pork chops that were cooked in some honey and other items I have... More

We stopped by Sol food twice for lunch. My mouth is watering right now as I think about the phenomenal pork carnitas! The beef empanadas are SO good as well as the sun-dried pasta salad. Love, love, LOVE the brownies and our most favorite drink was the strawberry Arnold Palmers! SOOO good! Highly recommend this place after you work up... More

Almost passed this gem up. Great food and huge portions. The only thing I didn't like was there was no where to sit with so many people eating there (two tables with a few chairs behind the food truck).

I drove past this truck multiple times just waiting for it to be open. The chalkboard read "Fri-Sun 11-3" so I had to wait! When Friday rolled around, I spent the morning at blue beach, then headed back to the park entrance for Sol Food. The 2 folks working there helped me decide on the pork carnitas. Whoa. So good... We got the pulled pork and Jamaican jerk chicken hoagies. They were very good and huge! You won't need a big dinner if you down one of these for lunch. Cole slaw was very tasty. Only issue was waiting for the weekend when they are open!

Jerk chicken is made with habanero peppers its outrageously spicy. But the funky chicken was awesome and the drink of the day (strawberry limeade) was super refreshing!!! Check it our before you go to blue, red, or secret beach!

This food truck is an amazing find on the island. Probably the best pulled pork sandwich I had in my life. I also really liked their homemade ice tea. We stumbled upon it the first day we were there (located at the entrance to the national park), and would have gone again, but it was never open the other times... More

Wish we could have eaten here everyday!! The food was some of the best on the island! The pork sandwich was to die for! My suggestion is to eat it when you get it. Get lots of napkins you will need them!!
