Cute place on a crowded corner downtown. Food was okay, not great (I had garlic shrimp). Decent split of white chilean wine. I was hoping this was a more gourmet place, but there are few such in western puerto rico.

The Paella and the Sangria was delicious. Will return just for those two items alone!
Since I'm a freshman I love siglo 20 there food is always great an diverse and it always lives up to my expectation a real home cooked puerto rican food paradise
Much better than Ricomini, better service and food
Great food, service and excellent prices! We ate there a few times and plan to go back next time we visit Puerto Rico.
For a Spanish feel right there in Old San Juan, El Siglo XX is a must. Great authentic tapas - octopus, jamon serrano, queso manchego; anchovies in oil; a variety of soups - caldo gallego, fabela, the bean wonder. Staff is nice, dont hover over you. Closes about 9pm, so come early.
My husband and I were walking around looking for a place to eat for lunch and we came across this place. Our meals were about $8-9 apiece. With one soda, an appetizer and two lunches, the bill was $23. I had sancocho with rice and beans and my husband had carne machada with red rice and beans. Everything was delicious....
