We ate there two or three times during our four day stay. The food and the service was tremendous, but it was a little loud.

Fell in love with the Skirt Steak & the Red Beans and rice with Plantains. After that meal we craved more each place we went. Also enjoyed the Black Bean Risotto.
This place has really good food. Prices are not horrible - $15-$25 ish and very close to the Conrad Hilton.
The general rating stands for this restrurant. We had the bacalao fritters and Shrimp Monfongo. The Bacalao seemed undercooked and salty (if you come here chose another appetizer .)
The Shrimp Monfongo was good. I would order it again.
We also had the red snapper filet with vegtables. A very good choice.
The creme brûlée with guava was a bit...

The place itself is pretty shabby and the service is lacking but the food is pretty good.
The food here was pretty good but the service was horrible. They assumed we didn't speak Spanish and spoke about us to each other. They were wrong. We also had to wait a long time for our food. We wouldn't return.
As opposed to a lot of Caribbean food, which features light, fruity flavors, this place offers deeply satisfying, more complex tastes. The interior is somewhat plain, but the food more than makes up for it.
Excellent food, reasonable price, close to Conrad, good service
A very small and cozy restaurant but the staff was awesome and the food was excellent. Service was very attentive as well.. Well recommended
Good Cuban food. Ropa vieja, tamales, arroz-con-gris, are excellent.
