The food was good but the manager attitude was bulling with the employees in front of customers, speaking loud with bad language. It was my first and last visit. Not because of the food or service. Is to not sponsor that bad attitude with old people that they have as employees. He treat them unrespecfull.

This restaurant is recommended in a number of sites about Puerto Rico. After having eaten there I can see why! Great food! Tried the Mofongo and loved it! Priced at half of what we spent at the other restaurants we ate at the week we were in Old San Juan. Great service too!

We arrived here by a local that was selling handmade goods. It was def Rey delicious and a bang for your buck! We parked at the Doña Fela parking and walked three blocks to get here. It is almost across the street from Radio Shack. The food was at a very good price compared to the other restaurants down the... More

Cafe Manolin was suggested by our hotel staff and they were right, this place was great. The food was authentic and geared to locals. The prices were very reasonable and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed it

Manolin is absolutely fantastic if you're looking for authentic Puerto Rican food - in fact, in our week stay traveling a lot of the country - it was the most authentic food we found. Go for lunch and the place is packed with locals so you'll probably have to wait for a bit but it is SO worth it. If... More

On a cruise ship stop in San Juan, and after touring the national park site and shopping in Old Town, we were fortunate to choose Cafe Manolin for lunch. Great food, great prices!!! Loved it!

OK maybe I was overdoing it a bit - if you eat the whole plate of food they serve you - you might be groaning from the amount of food you just ate! Although you will be tempted to eat all of it! I love the old ambience of the blue vinyl swivel counter seats. The service is prompt and... More

We found this while touring Old San Juan. We asked a police officer for a good breakfast spot and he told us about this place. Nice and cheap. No wait. We ate breakfast twice here and really liked it. It was very cheap as well. Also, my fiance, having no Spanish in his life, learned what huevos & tocineta was.... More

This is an excellent place for breakfast and lunch. The locals frequent here- the food is great and cheap, and the service is wonderful.

There's a reason that folks wait for a table here -- this place is AMAZING! I've eaten here several times and it is always delicious! Sit at the counter for faster service (if there's a line for tables) -- but really, don't rush through this excellent meal....I highly recommend the shrimp mofongo but it's all great, reasonably priced food.
