Went to Sofia based on local recomendations- wow what a great place for dinner while in Old San Juan. The food, wine, atmosphere and service were outstanding.
Good restaurant, we were seated right away and the waiter was professional and courteous are food was great and the soups were delicious. The minutos were also great
Sofia Loren would be embarrassed. Food is "blah", wine is 1/4 of the glass for $8. Only decor deserves good grade. Ordered Fettuccine pasta dish but they brought Penne. Only when I pointed out the mistake they said no Fettuccine on that day?! No apology, no discount. Would not recommend this place at all.
Very good pizza selection. Fresh ingredients! Excelent creme brulee. Good beer! The atmosphere here is awesome, this place is beautifull. Nice decoration, and nice personel keeps customers comfortable and the attention is good. It has a beautifull balcony with nice outdoor garden where you can enjoy your pizza and your beer. Price is very good. The only drawback is that...

Loved every dish we ordered! Excellent! Only complaint was my wine glass was not full enough :)
We ate here a few times during our 3 years in San Juan. It was consistently delicious. A lovely quiet spot for an amazing bite to eat!!!
We went to Sofia's on our final night in San Juan. The service is very good, and the staff was quite attentive to our needs. We started with drinks, and I had the sangria, which was good. I had a nice pistachio salad with a orange vinaigrette. The salad was very tasty. For an appetizer, we had a stuffed eggplant....
