Grogge Shoope is a really nice place to relax, unwind and enjoy some quality Jamaican food in the middle of the city. Located in the nice colonial settings of Devvon House, the restaurant offers a nice menu and they have a great bar with excellent cocktails as well.

This is a much nicer restaurant than the name implies. In fact, the setting Is quit elegant and very romantic. Dine either inside or outside in the lovely garden under huge trees. We ate here with a group of ten. They set up promptly, service was superb. Setting is great in this historic property. Jamaican cuisine, food was very good. Definitely a great place to eat in Kingston. One note: as of early August the phone number on the site was wrong, but I found the right one through Google.
