Probably the best restaurant in the colonial city. In a very old colonial house with antiques and interesting art work. The owner is French and is gradually moving the menu from Basque to classical French. The service is excellent (our table for two had two waiters dedicated to serving us). The owner is trying to improve his waiters' English and... More

We are local guys who like to enjoy good food. The food was excellent!, with no objection at all !. Service is an issue; Waiters have the best of intentions, but no a great result. Red snapper with shrimp sauce was amazing and Creme brûlée magnific !!!!

During a visit to Santo Domingo I stumbled upon this great spot which happened to be just down the street from my hotel. Located in a beautiful colonial style building, the atmosphere couldn't be any better. The food was delicious, the French wine list was extensive, and the creme brûlée was perfect! Highly recommended.

Wonderful location in a 16th century villa with open courtyard. Very friendly service, the owner will greet you and is very helpful. The food is superb, we had the ceviche platter and then the veal sweetbread (excellent! If you've never tried sweetbread, you really should) and the churrasco (chargrilled steak). Great French wine selection, excellent Italian coffee. And the cider... More

Terrific restaurant in Santo Domingo - Basque (mostly French) food, very well-located, ambience charming without being twee, excellent service and a very friendly owner. The sampling of ceviches was outstanding.

The living room interior reminds a lot to a Cuban Paradar. Original menu and the quality of the chicken breast I had was supreme

This is an amazing Restaurant... always with very good things to delight myself, a quite place, serenity, in a colonial mood with refreshing and comfortable atmosphere... The simpathy and smiling faces of the owners and service crew will make you want to come back...

this place has it all, a very attentive service, a unique setting in a colonial builing, partly furnished with beautiful antiques, an overall fresh design...AND BEST OF ALL THE FOOD!!!!! I love raw fish, so the decision for starters was easy, the ceviche tapas plate, 6 different ceviches, I will certainly try to copy the one marinated with passionfruit!!! My... More
