went only once for lunch with clients, and will never go again, because the salad I ate caused me 'stomach-problems'.... said to be a good 'steak-house' though. quit expensive for an 'american style steakhouise'.

Quality and variety is the symbol of a good restaurant. PORTERHOUSE definitely the best place to go in Santo Domingo.

I got one of the best steaks I have ever had. The meat was juicy and cooked so well, generous portions! A wide variety of wines, great service, perfect atmosphere, prices are very reasonable, english and french spoken. The restaurant have a private room available for specials events. The food is out of this world. When visiting DR you have to stop by Porterhouse!! The atmosphere and the service are excellent, but the food is on my top 3 worldwide.
