We got apetizers, entrees and desert and a nice bottle of white wine all for 32 dollars. How can you go wrong? The food was lovely. Good soup, get the cuban paella...mmm. The white wine was from Spain and was served chilled and placed in a bucket of ice for our table. Nice outdoor atmosphere. Quiet. The staff were friendly... More

We stopped for a supper. We all ordered different things just to get a good taste. We all loved our meals. The preparation was very good, the food tasty, and the service very friendly. 6 people with drinks was $80 CUD including tip. Very happy we stopped. Take the double decker to 42nd it's easy to find.

My friend who chose the paella was very happy. Perhaps not as fancy a serving as in Spain, but great taste and a swinging portion. The rest was cheap and small. But to be honest, I wouldn't care if I came back or not - neither would the waitress...

We ate at La Vicaria during our trip in October. We had spent the day walking around Varadero and decided to try a local eatery for a late lunch instead of waiting to get back to the resort. We were the only tourists eating here at the time and never once felt uncomfortable. My wife had the fried chicken with... More

We ate here as it was one of only places in Varadero you could eat with Cuban Nationals! The food was good, but slow coming! There were 9 of us and 2 of us (the two tourists) did not get their meals for about 15 minutes after the others...maybe they were trying to tell us something...I don't know????!!!!

You can dine and at the same time watch the town " go by ". The food is very good, and the orders are definetely not... More

A Lobster, cooked on the BBQ with garlic butter and all the toppings, plus 4 Crystals cost us 28 pasos-what a deal for the best cooked lobester in... More

3 years ago when we stayed at Brisas del Caribe a couple told me they had a great meal here and I finally got around to trying the lobster. I wish I'd gotten one of their many cheaper meals of chicken or pork which are $3.50 as opposed to my $15 overcooked lobster. My wife had shrimp for $6 and... More
