Had dinner last night at the Lonestar. My wife and I had eaten there 3 years ago and were not overly impressed then so we said lets try again. Alas very mediocre compared with Daphnes ,the wonderful Cin Cin and The Beach House. I simply couldnt rate this restaurant up there like other reviewers. The setting is perfect but the food... More

The setting is magical, flaming torches, the sea lapping at the soft sandy beach, and very busy. We had lovely cocktails at the bar, where the staff were a little frosty. Then a sea side table with crisp white napkins.. What a delight to have a proper curry in the caribbean !! My only regret was I didn't try my... More

I thought the tables were a bit too close to each other and we could hear the conversations on the table next to us. Service could have been a little more attentive. Sadly my main meal was disappointing but the manager dealt with it in a wonderful manner. the rest of our meal was delicious.

One of our favourites and somewhere we visit many times when we are in Barbados. Everything is excellent so give it a try - you will not be disappointed.

We have spent two weeks on Barbados visiting some of the best restaurants on the west coast and this was our favourite. Stunning setting with flame lit lanterns on the beach. My 13 year old commented "this is like something out of a travel magazine" and it was. The food was gorgeous especially the tempura and shepherds pie! Very friendly... More

I liked the location, the history of the place and the very good quality of service. Unfortunately we had been to cincin the night before and that just knocks the spots of this - maybe just looking a bit tired, needs to notch it up a gear.

Good at atmosphere-something a little bit different for Barbados. Good menu and food. Nice setting. Staff pleasant in their boiler suits!

Despite being well recommended by locals and having lovely setting on the sea front, we found is place to be thoroughly overpriced and poor in quality from starter through to dessert. Dessert in particular was a shocker - it's quite difficult to believe how anyone feels happy serving something that looks like it came out of the freezer section of... More
