Really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. It was quite charming and you received a good amount of food for your money. The waitstaff was very nice. We sat in the air conditioned dining room but the rear garden was pretty and so were the birds inhabiting it. The bagel was not very good so we would recommend the croissant.

The experience of De Suikertuin begins when you enter the restaurant. The decor is informal, and somehow very tranquil. we had excellent omelets, and Dutch pancakes. Lunch menu looks good also. Prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, we only discovered it on our last day in Aruba, so we will need to wait for our next trip to visit again.

If you open the doors of Suikertuin it's like you open the doors to heaven. Really so restful and the ambience is good. The very friendly staff recommend me the hotchpotch they had that week of Endive and i really didn't know what that was, so she explain to me that it is a typical Dutch "thing" with mshd potatoes... My sister and enjoyed a lovely Queen's Day breakfast at De Suikertuin. I had tea served in an adorable tea pot and the continental breakfast with perfectly cooked bacon, a croissant and fresh squeezed orange juice. Our server, Chantal, was excellent and the restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Aruba.

You would not believe how quiet and peaceful is it in the backyard of the Suikertuin. A very nice place to have a break from shopping. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is nice too. I have not tried it, but I was told they have a nice high tea there too.

We've been going to Aruba for 15 years and we decided to try De Suirkertuin, owned and operated by the lovely Willeke. My wife had the Tuna, cheese, onions on a baquette,I had the Pumkin soup and grilled chicken,2 cheeses and onions on baquette, both were delicious. We had to try the scones and thank God we did. The food, the... More

After a long walk through Orangestaad we stumbled upon the unimposing but charming Suikertuin. A former mansion, built of stone, converted to a restaurant with a lovely, peaceful gardern. Suikertuin means ""sugar garden" and it is a sweet discovery indeed. We both ordered green pepper soup, which was scrumptious. I had a lovely baguette with grilled veggies, pesto and cheese.... More
