Great tapas, great drinks, and a warm/welcoming atmosphere. This needs to be on your list of places to eat at while on Anguilla, go at sunset!
This was our second time drinking and dining at Sandbar. We enjoyed our meal very much. We like to go early and watch the sun set over Sandy Ground. The service was very nice and unhurried. This is one of our favorite inexpensive places to dine.
Went to Sandbar on Aug 02nd for my birthday, but it was very disappointed. Staff is not very organized, food below par and let's be real, it may sound good at $10 each, but the bill keeps going up if you don't want to leave hungrier than when you arrived. Maybe if you drink a lot before the food comes,... More
The place is awesome, Josh miss you man. If you want something small to eat with no fuss this is the place to be on Sandy Ground. Fresh ingredients, great service...on an island. The locals know where to go and they go here.
My wife and I have dinned at this locals-loved spot. The menu is eclectic and the drinks are great. The prices are very reasonable as well.
Midweek, off-season, the place was packed and lively. Service was first rate, food was great, served in perfectly timed waves. The drinks were fantastic. Added bonus: the sunset is one of the best on Anguilla.
My favorite restaurant on my 15th time back to Anguilla was the sand bar. We arrived early evening w bathing suits and ended up staying for dinner. The waitstaff was so pleasant and welcoming and the drinks were fantastic. I had a sun burn and the waiter even cut me a piece of aloe. The tapas were super tasty and... More
Sandbar is so great, what is better than French Fries…batter dipped French fries YUM! We also had the fish bits, meatballs stuffed with olives, goat cheese salad and the seafood salad. As usual, everything was delicious, and Joash was so welcoming. This is one of the few places that do not add the service charge to their bill, their service... More
We loved our dinner at our beach side table! BBQ ribs are yummy. Everything was reasonably prices for what you got (avg tapas$10 -$12). My wine was spot on. Best part was the friendly service and the laid-back vibe they've created. We'd go back!
SandBar in Sandy Ground (Anguilla) is a great find if you like tapas - the menu is somewhat limited yet it provides the guest with a surprisingly good selection for the carnivore or even the pesco-vegetarian. I have to say the mayo fries is one of the best i've had (and I don't particularly care for fries). The most surprising... More
