Much too expensive for the offered quality; especially with an atmosphere like a bunker. Attention first come, first serve; NO reservations and this can cost a lot of waiting time!

The view was wonderful, food okay and turnaround decent. For our one trip there, it was great.

My husband, son and I decided to splurge while we were camping in the park. We shared the elk and buffalo sausage appetizer - which was really good. I had a curry vegetarian dish, my husband had the salmon, we both enjoyed our entrees. The prices were reasonable considering the view, and the service was very good.

Ptarmigan dining room is closed this summer 2011 but dining is in the interlaken room and the lounge. Meals always perfect(venaison sausages, crabcake, trout, bison, desserts,..). Service is perfect, not too fast and no waiting time. View is terrific. To recommand...

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. My friend and I both had the salmon along with a couple microbrews. The server (Hannah Montana...really!) was on top of her game and was attentive throughout our meal. This makes up for our lousy meal at the Cattle Baron.

Dining room is certainly a win for its spectacular views. It was breathtaking and we could see wildlife from our table! Take a photo on the deck of the lodge after dinner, too!
