If you are searching for great alaskan fare, this is it! We ate here a couple of times for dinner and once for breakfast. Take the family, take yourselves and get the salmon (crab legs as well).

We ate here the first night and all 6 of us enjoyed our meals. Good fish (and a selection of other dishes), reasonable prices. Friendly service. It was busy, but the wait for our food was no longer than the normal amount of time for this type of restaurant.
What a unique restaurant, hanging off the side of the bluff with crooked floors and stairs which just add to the appeal of the joint. The architecture is worth the visit by itself.
We made an advance resevation for our first night in Denali. After we ate at the Salmon Bake we decided it was the only place for us...

It's true that there aren't many restaurant choices in the area, but we were really happy we chose the Salmon Bake. The McKinley Margarita was really the best tasting margarita I've ever had. It was big, frozen, and blue -- really great. My husband raved about the King Crab Legs and my ribs were spectacular. We were there in August....

The seafood was not the best and the service slow, I guess as it was Sept and everyone was going home.
Very unique building, crooked floor metal signs all over the walls--cool place. The food is good by any standards, large portions and very tasty. We even got a side show the night we were there. It was our waitresses last night there for the season and it is tradition for them to get a whip cream pie in the face their...

Keep in mind that you don't have many choices for where to dine when you are in the park entrance area. However, we liked this place so much that we went there numerous times for breakfast and dinner and lunch! Their salmon burgers are great, not overpriced. I highly recommend you visit this place once during your stay.
Cute old, uneven building with rustic feel. Very good food. Nice variety. Lots of drinks to choose from, both beer and well. Service was severely lacking on the slow afternoon we were there.
Pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. I was expecting much less. The food was flavorful and had a very home-made taste to it. Service was average considering how slammed they were at the time, but who's in a hurry when on vacation anyway. Don't miss the homemade blueberry pie with whip cream!
After an incredible day in Denali we were ready for a good dinner. The Salmon Bake did not disappoint, We had a great waiter. My husband had the halibut and chips and I the halibut tacos . We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners .
