Absolutely lip smacking good. The ribs were perfect, juicy and tasty. I couldn't eat it all though, I ordered the Monday special full rack and I'm a female, but that's okay because they nicely packaged my leftovers for me to take home. Excellent service, great waiters and waitresses, all very friendly. A must visit.

Pork spare ribs and the Smoked duck salad are great with the Buffalo wings. This restaurant was a delight to find besides the usual indian, chinese, thai that seems to dominate the food industry these days in most towns of New Zealand.

The staff was great, the food was very good. Before you order ask for the size of the meal. They are over size!! They do give you a doggy back home if you cannot finish your meal. We will go there again and again and again!!! Well done to all the staff and management!

This is the only restaurant with reasonable prices in the entire Wellington area. AND, it has the best food. Great BBQ ribs, fabulous baked beans and the only place that knows how to cook french fries crispy.

We have been to Uncle Mikes 3 times already this year, we just cant get enough.. A must is the Ribs & the beans.. Also dont leave without buying some bbq sauce!!

We went just for a quick meal before a movie. Service was great and fod is the genuine authentic American BBQ. Ribs were not as tender as they could be but still delicious. We will definitely return.
