The Old world atmosphere is great, it is just like the old pub/shop was in Ireland in my young days. Food unimaginative, basic. Staff were really friendly and kind.

Wow what a pub full of cool stuff to look at while having a relaxed drink or two. This is the real deal no fake old world look. Just a pub that has evolved over years and years. C

There are so many fabulous things going on in this pub-from an award winning musician/bartender/grocery clerk; a colorful and very friendly family member named Derry who is very handy with the photo albums; a bar canopied by business cards and memorable notes; bar shelves that are crooked and a beautiful stone tile floor, very rustic; great pub food at very... This shop/pub/off licence etc etc is an old style waterways pub which serves sweets, beer, food or groceries! I think it was featured on 3 men in a boat Ireland - BBC series with Dara O'Briain, Griff Rhys Jones and Rory McGrath. They buy pipes and pints in Killeens!!. A visit to this waterways pub is an experience.

In plain terms one half is a treasure chest of anything and everything you would care to think in domestic products(We saw ball valves to mousetraps) it is impossible in a few words to describe the range of productsand in the other half a bar... The location was ideally suited for the fishing, but you dont want to hear about that. Killeens- Mick & Derry the two most sincere... More

Been to Killeens every year since 1982. Great hosts, great company. Live music every night through the summer. Recommended for a good craic! Excellent Guinness.

From the time we entered Kileen's pub, we were treated as welcomed guests of the owner Mick. We were traveling from Dublin to Galway during the incredble flooding the west was having. We were detoured to get into town and found Kileen's immediately. We were looking for some breakfast and a coffee. Kileens doesn't serve breakfast but Mick and Mary... More
