We started our visit with a quick wine tasting. The wines were quite an enticing range, but many were $45 a bottle retail. The winery is set in idyllic grounds - a steep valley with several small dams, vines on the valley sides and a backdrop of green pasture and jarrah forest beyond. Many trees and the vines were in... We were taken to the Millbrook winery by some very good friends with whom we were staying on a brief visit to Perth, my favourite Australian city. We decided to treat our friends to lunch to celebrate an upcoming big birthday and could not have made a better choice. The surroundings are idyllic with a short walk from the carpark... More

When full it is a very noisy environment as there are very... More

Millbrook is an outstanding winery restaurant about 45 minutes drive from the centre of Perth. Situated in a secluded valley in Jarrahdale hills, it is a lot closer than Margaret River and a great location for a weekend lunch. Fabulous modern Australian food and good service make it a place for the special occasion. This was our second visit and... More

So we went to Milbrook Winery for Mother's Day lunch. Its a quick drive out there now the freeway goes so far south and the setting is beautiful. Once in the building it was a bit confusing with no definite signage to direct us to the restaurant and, for a while, we thought that the wine-tasting counter was the restaurant... More
