So far, I've been to 13 Gobbi probably 5 times--and always for lunch. I absolutely love their pasta dish that made by putting the cooking pasta in the huge round of very aged pecorino cheese. The tagliatelle in pecorino is, as reported by many, outstanding but the secondi of rabbit and chicken that we had were both somewhat bland. During my stay in Montefollonico I had an opportunity to try the food in this place after recommendation of my local Italian friend. I was lucky I could try restaurant food (standard menu) but also try a home made food served there and talk to the owners. Highly recommended for spending great time and trying Tuscan food.

Great Tuscan fare, very well done - we couldn't go enough! Must try the pecorino wheel for a pasta indulgance!

Two words.....pecorino pasta! Wonderful food, service and atmosphere in an amazing Tuscan village.

unbelievable foods with a ancient tradition... and the best wine at 0km (naturally we are near Montepulciano and Montalcino... 0km mean THE BEST WINE IN THE WORLD FOLLOWING WINE SPECTATOR magazin) in a medieval little town... W O N D E R F U L!!! P.S. don't drive after a bottle of wine.... take a girlfriend/boyfriend alcohol free :-)
