We just got back from the Seychelles. We had a very nice meal and cocktails at Batista. The restaurant is situated on a stunning beach. At the back they have tortoises. Please note that the restaurant is working only from 12:30 to 16:00p.m. In the morning they have breakfast, but it is only for the guest of the villa.

Arrived around 3 o'clock, on Friday, so it was just one table occupied. Don't know if reason was low season or the hour. I can just subscribe to other reviewers opinions regarding the view. It is beautifull, beatifull, beautifull !! Even after seeing the Intendance Bay every day, the neighbour beach in front of Chez Batista is great, with combination... More

Chez batiste is right on a fantastic beach at the south end of Mahe island. Menu during the week is typical local creole food, so if you like freshly caught fish, local curried anything and dollops of Pema sauce then this will be right up your street. Service is very typical Seychellois as well, I.e. aloof and unattentive but pleasant... More

One of the best settings on the Island, right on the beach. Our waitress was lovely, but the food was at best average, nothing bad, but just failed to inspire and live up to the wonderful location. We went for lunch on a weekday, but it seems Sunday would have been more lively. Still worth a visit. A 90SR for... More

The restaurant is in a fantastic location with a perfect view on one of the best beaches of Mahe. The staff is quite rude and the menu is limited. We had lunch on sunday. The place is very crowded as the people of the island likes the place (fixed price creole menu ... quite expensive). We were placed outside and... More

I love this restaurant. I visit every time I am in the seychelles. The Sunday buffet is excellent. Well worth a visit. Also I was married here and Judith and the staff made the whole day perfect as my husband and i wanted an authentic Seychelles wedding not held in a five star hotel.

I heard a lot about this place and decided to try it. Went there for a late lunch, nice settings ( sand in your feet, table, chairs). Restaurant was quiet, only 3-4 people around, 3 waitress. Ordered food, and waited forever. When we did get the food it was not really that good. Not somewhere I will go back unfortunately.

My review may not suite everybody, couse we made a dinner for 60 pax there. The location is nice, right on the beach on the sunset side (thought quite far from most of the hotels), so if you come for dinner you may enjoy a beautiful sunset. The food is really good, expecially for Seychelles where you can rearly find... More

We were there on a Sunday and it was "crowded". Make sure you have a reservation, we did and still they could not give us our table because somebody else took it already, they said. Well, we sat down at another one but that was not a good start. It was a buffet... And we had to get in to... More
