We first visited here on our last trip to Madeira, we arrived about 8.45pm and there were two other tables in the restaurant. Compared to other restaurants in Madeira, the service is unfriendly, and the food is horrible, as is the coffee they serve. We had some fish soup that looked and smelled like something out of a sewer, and there was nothing fresh in the tuna salad.
After hiking one of the longer levadas the restaraunt seems like a good idea even...
