I went to the Trivia Night here a couple of weeks ago. There was a good crowd which gave the bar a great atmosphere. We had to order our food at the bar which seems to be the go at bars around Cairns. The food was priced very reasonably and delivered promptly. The portion sizes were big, with the majority... More

This bar is a great place to go if you like well brewed beer! Try the sample of six beers before you order the large jug of ale (better value than a pint). The selection of great beers and wines in a relaxed large bar makes this place well worth a visit. Staff were friendly: there is a large screen... More

On the website they advertised Monday night $10 ribs which sounded like a great deal so headed into town to enjoy. However the staff did not seem to even know anything about it and said they did not have this offer. No explanation given on why the website was not correct. So a total waste of evening and a total... More

Fun place - pitchers are on special from 5-7, and they usually have some sort of food promotion mid-week, check their site. We showed up on Taco Tuesday, and had $2 Tacos. Not bad, although there were clearly no Mexicans involved in the making of them. I found most Australian food to be lacking in spice, and the tacos were... More

If you purely love to drink beer, go for it! This is the place to go. If you would like to eat, don't go. I order the pie and filling was cooked by beer. You can taste a beer for sure but I am pretty much sure that it was flozen and just warm up because when you floze the... More

We did a tour of the micro-brewery here, as hubby is recently getting into a little bit of home brewing. The fellow that takes the tour is very passionate about the whole process and goes into a fair bit of depth about all the beer making - we found it really interesting. Afterwards you can try a wooden 'paddle' of... More

As the name implies, this brewery offers two different services: a giant cavernous sports bar with an long bar and several immense TV screens, and a row of restaurant tables on either side of the entrance. What they have in common is a range of fresh beer made on the premises and a kitchen that turns out very good food.... More
