Very nice restaurant with a warm service. The food is very good (either fish or meat) with a exquisite taste of traditional Portuguese food. Calm and quiet even in summer time. Worthwhile trying the tuna fish stake (much better than the traditional way of cooking it) and the Arroz de Lingueirão (razor shell rice).

Pretty good but after reading the reviews were expecting a bit more, I ordered steak rare and it came well done, they did replace but a bit grudgingly, apart from that very good, better than most on the shorefront.

This restaurant has got to be the best in Cabanas. Nothing is too much trouble for the very helpful staff. Maybe not the cheapest. But certainly the best!!

A fonte is a small restaurant a bit off the main drag. I visited in June with my daughter. Really friendly and helpful proprietor. Wonderful fish dishes, good sized portions and really very reasonable price. Nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
