Always crowded, arrive early or expect to wait a bit if not taking away. We were lucky to grab a table for 6 in a short period of time. We asked for recommendations since we were not experienced with Japanese cakes, loved all of them, especially a colourful, layered cake - I recommend that.

This cafe and "take-out "patisserie is about a 10 min. walk from the main exit of Jiyugaoka Station. It's open from 11:00 to 19:00. The adjoining café is open from 11:00 to 17:30.
If you want a seat in the café, I’d recommend you arrive when it opens (this place is always crowded). At the entrance is the glass counter...
