Sadly, my wife and I reached this restaurant only to find a handwritten sign on the closed door stating (as translated by my Mom, who is Japanese): "the second Tuesday (of the month) and every Wednesday is a regular shop holiday."
Sadly, we were there on a Wednesday, and so they were closed. I attach a copy of the note.

Ok, the bad news first. This place is nowhere near a popular tourist attraction and located halfway between Nippori and Nishi Nippori Stations, so their clientele is obviously Japanese. Therefore, they don't have English menus and nobody speaks Japanese here.
