Had tried a couple of times to go, but always full, so we were expecting the food to be excellent.. It was actually very bad food. I do not recommend it. It is not what it used to be. Better places to eat around than to pass the trouble of having to wait for a table to then eat bad... More

This is my third visit to this picturesque restaurant built around a huge rubber tree. Waiters are very friendly and the food is very good. Chuletas can can (pork chops) are their specialty but be prepared to eat a lot because they are HUGE and the side dishes are delicious. Beer is very cold. If you are not a big... More

This is a great place to come when you are visiting the REAL places of the island, nice atmosphere, good service, and great food, Chuletas Can-Can is an interesting dish. Steak is also good with rice. The place is in the middle of the jungle so this place is great if you are a visitor. Desserts are typical Boricua traditional.

Have been going there with the family since I was a kid, be it carne mechada, lomillo encebollado or any of the many plates they still serve, its a good option. The rubber tree provides character.

Saw the restaurant from tripadvisor and didn't disappoint us :)) When we got there the place was packed with local people which is a good sign for us ;) The server can't speak much English but she tried to help and always came check on our table. Good selections of wine, the owner speak very good English shown us the... More

The service was slow. The dishes were well cooked and I enjoyed them. I think the restaurant could have a better range of plates and better prices.. Closing hour is too early.

I have been going to this restaurant for a long time, since it was a rickety old building back in the late 80s. After many years, the place has been revamped, the main dining room is a wooden structure with high ceilings and big open windows. Today we went for lunch, but although the place is famous for their brontosaurus-sized... More

I had to see it to believe it. The fried pork chop is awesome and huge. Sharing is the best part. The service is superb. Warning- do not attempt to arrive 15 minutes prior to closing at 6:30 pm as they will shut off the lights. They mean it when it comes to closing. Other than that this restaurant is... More

As already said, it's not bad at all, but if you go there because a thousand people told you about, you will feel a little disappointed.
