To die for food and so well presented. They really have it right. It is not cheap but it is an experience you wont forget. Rebecca looked after us like family More

Clearly one of the best regional restaurants in Oz! Cameron and his team do an amazing job in this boutique kitchen - worth the drive, time and expense. Accomm in old managers cottage (recently renovated to outstanding quality) for 6 makes perfect for small group. Saturday french cooking school was best I have ever attended! Thanks team for being so... More

The kitchen of Spicers should be commended on an amazing meal. 5 courses of pure art on the plate which was complex with flavours and textures. A real treat to experience - thank you! More

Restaurants can have off nights, but there's something else that's wrong here. Firstly our waitress was, well frankly rude, cold and aloof, very strange given the warm welcome you normally get in the area. As a result the atmosphere suffers, although the fit out is more welcoming. Wine list reasonable. Undercooked attempt at a crusty sourdough should never have been... More

Went here with spouse for lunch. Setting is lovely with well established gardens and walks down to stream and little water fall. Food was a big disappointment with the emphasis mostly on presentation. It looked nice with lots of bits and pieces but not much to eat once you get stuck into it. Just a really weird experience actually. Lots... More

The degustation menue was average - nothing wrong, but a little uninsoired and bland. The wine list is surprisingly poor - absolutely no excuse for that! More

The menu is pretentious nonsense. "We don't serve main courses" means you get bare protein with not a vegetable in sight when you order duck. Paying $75 for 2 small courses is not the issue. Total lack of value for money is what's wrong here. Ever heard of the Emporer's New clothes? It's a similar illusion they are trying to... More

We recently had our first wedding anniversery at The Long Apron. This honestly was the most amazing food I have ever eaten. We enjoyed everything from the 7 course tasting menu, each dish looked spectacular and tasted even better. The highlight for us was the Black Angus Sirloin. I can't wait to go again. More

Due to my work as a Marriage Celebrant, I travel nearly every day, all over south east Queensland, having to rely on restaurant food. So I get to see and experience the best and the worst, of eating establishments. After a few visits to Spicer’s Clovelly Estate, Montville, I decided to book a table in their restaurant, to celebrate with... More
