when we came into the winery at a quarter to 6, opening hours from 14-18h in the afternoon - after riding the bike all the way from Maipu, the people at Tommasos weren't able even to sell us a bottle of wine! And certainly they wouldn't do anything like a wine tour! They were really arrongant, sending us away even... More

Had lunch at the winery as part of doing a "bike wine tour". Sitting outside next to the wine field having a delicious homecooked meal was a very nice experience. Highly recommended. If you do a bike tour and rent your bike at Bikes and Wines you get discount on the meal.

We only did the wine tasting and tour, but others we spoke to said the food was great. The tour was really cool showing how they've changed things over the years.

I had lunch at the DiTomaso winery. It was fine, but nothing special. The setting is the driveway of the winery, so not all that picturesque, particularly compared the restaurants of some of the neighboring wineries. I had one of the platos and a glass of one on their wines. The plato was a combination of some cured meats, cheese,... More

This is a great place on the wine tour to take a time out under the trees, have a meat and cheese platter before tucking into the delicious wines they have to offer

Lots of vineyards and hotels in Maipu, but not a lot of restaurants - this is one of them and it's great. We had a nice chat with the daughter of the family. Her great grandparents were immigrants from Italy. They set-up this vineyard generations ago. They make wine on a small scale for domestic consumption, have lots of business... More

The winery is one of the oldest you can visit i nthe Mendoza wine country, the small antique artifacts are at view without being a dull museum. The owners are always around to provide their knowlesge and experience. The best part came at lunch... the small and homey restaurant has wonderfully tasteful touches such as the glass floor to the... More

Our favorite winery in the Maipu wine route. It is run by a family and you notice from the moment you step in. They treat you as if you were at home! We arrived around four, starving from riding our bikes all day long. The staff was very friendly and we ate a delicious lasagna.Afterwards we did the tour which was very... More
