I recently visited the joiners with family for a birthday celebration, we walked into a busy restaurant with a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere, Staff were all more than helpful and the food was superb. All in all it was a brilliant evening and we shall be back very soon.
Tried an evening meal with friends, oh dear.
First impressions were cold, it was a cold evening inside the pub and out. The reception was cool as well from the young lady who 'greeted' us with a surly attitude. A bad start.

Having promised a friend an adventure, aka, a van drive to pick up an ebay piece of furniture, I felt I owed him a meal...so a little drive later saw us arrive at the Joiners Arms, a cosy dining establishment, in the Leicestershire countryside. Unfortunately, I was driving the aforementioned van so was unable to indulge in the many pages...

I had a glass of really...

The food is outstanding, to the point where food in other places falls short. The ambience is cosy, inviting and warm, which is matched by the attitudes of the wonderful staff. Highly recommended.
Found this place on Trip Advisor as we were staying in Leicester, booked on the day. It was an excellent find, great service, lovely food. Would highly recommend to others

We decided to visit here after reading lots of good things about it. We didn't book in advance, but we weren't turned away and, despite a full restaurant, the staff were very accommodating and found us a table. The food was excellent and the restaurant was cosy and tasteful. Good choice on the menu and very reasonably priced Sunday lunch....
