we've been at this restaurant twice during our visit to Tuscany. just had to come again after a lovely and tasty experience. being an extended family pack of 13 people, we had almost everything on the menu. all is delicious but don't dare to miss the Chianina steak (from the local cows). simply superb! the wine list is just amazing... Fantastic restaurant owned by the talented "Patron Sergio". A fantastic combination of Tuscan and Sicilian cuisine. Memorable tagliatelle with chessnut flower and tartufo and a magic caponatina, definetely on the best you can taste in Italy. All in all I cant wait for my next yummy visit.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Toscanini last Tuesday night. We were greeted warmly by Sergio who spoke excellent English. He explained the menu thoroughly, recommending some local specialties that were delicious (try the chianina and homemade desserts of the day). The food, ambience and conversation with Sergio made for a memorable evening!

As its very first customers ,we highly recommend this restaurant , we even got there before the menus were printed!! Food superb with great hospitality. Went back for a 'second taste' before returning home to Ireland. Will be back in a few weeks time for the 2011 trip to Italy and look forward to further samplings for further samplings !!
