My wife and I spent three nights from where we could easily visit the sights in the surrounding area and towns, Ragusa Ibla, Modica and the seaside towns. Nota is 45 minutes sway. One word of caution: do your homework to find the exact location of the B&B as there is a one-way system in town. Once you have found it, navigation becomes very easy. The room we had was on the ground floor – very spacious and nicely decorated. The double doors opened onto the terrace and pool area which was just so beautifully kept – full o..."f flowers and lots of nice places to sit and relax. Because there is not much nearby in the way of bars / restaurants it was great to have a kitchen and living room with dining table available to us to use. It was like having our own little Sicilian home. I would definitely recommend Villa U Marchisi if you have a car and want to stay somewhere affordable and sweet in Sicily. It’s a great spot if you want to explore the nearby towns and beautiful beaches but also want to relax by a pool. If you want to be wined and dined though, I would suggest staying in one of the places in Scicli. " More >
