Before booking we thought it might take away from our experience to have accommodation without a view of the water, but after arriving and being within a few minutes from the bay, we realized it wasn’t a hardship. We would bathe each morning and evening to begin and end our day in the warm clear water. The whole coastline there is publicly available – a nice touch. There is plenty to do. We hired a car to get around, but a compact one since many of the roads are charmingly narrow.
