  "Amazing Apartment in Heywoods, Barbados"
  "This was my first trip to Barbados and I was recommended to stay at this apartment. I wasn't disappointed, and it more than surpassed my expectations. On arrival it was clean, tidy and well equipped. All the rooms were very spacious. It is a very short walk to the nearest beach, which was stunning, ..."and there were lots more beaches to choose from close by. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, and I can highly recommend the Fish Pot for great local sea food and Just Grilling, which provides very high quality food at great prices. Mullins Beach restaurant was also very good. There's lots to do in the area, and there are several great golf courses on the island. A trip to Harrisons Caves and a tour of Mount Gay rum distillery shouldn't be missed! The capital, Bridgetown, is about a 40 minute drive away, and worth a visit for the shops, bars and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone, and look forward to my next visit. " More >

  "What a fantastic apartment. My wife and I stayed for a week on our 'Baby Moon', and thoroughly enjoyed both the apartment and the location. The apartment is directly overlooking Turtle Beach, a wonderfully quiet & clean small beach which we had to ourselves most mornings. Speightstown is a very quai..."nt little town, with a local feel to it which allows you to experience the 'real' Barbados, very unlike most resort towns on the west coast. The apartment location is just slightly out of town; only a few minutes walk but enough to ensure a quiet and peaceful stay. There are several restaurants close by; I would recommend 'Val's Place', for tasty home cooked food and to meet local people. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, and contains many of Trisha's own furnishings and belongings. This gives the place a lovely homely feel, in comparison to that of many blandly decorated rentals.
