  "We stayed for a few nights in the three bed dorm which was very cosy. We had it to ourselves whilst we were there, the beds were comfy, however one of the beds was under the eaves of a low ceiling so I wouldn't imagine it would be good if you're claustrophobic!! We booked two activities through them - a visit to santa Elena cloud forest which was beautiful, I recommend going, and on a santamaria night walk which was also good and we saw quite a few animals. The breakfast was delicious and included with the room price. One morning we had pancakes with bananas and strawberrys, and the other we had toast, scrambled egg, watermelon and banana. Really good! There's also free tea and coffee. The hostel is near the supermarket and has a good kitchen. The only down side is that in monteverde itself there is not much to do if you don't do the activities.
