The rooms are extremely comfortable and very clean. We stayed in two different rooms and both were excellent. The area is safe and nobody hassles you when you're out. We had beach fires at night and cooked our dinners over the fire while watching the most amazing lightning storms out at sea. Mostly we just drank champagne under a palm tree in the days and watched the waves coming and going. If you like dogs you'll really enjoy the ones living around the hotel. The open air restaurant and bar was wonderful. They arranged for our pick up at SJO and we taxied very conveniently straight to and from the resort.
