I..."n Kolymbia itself there is little to do, it has a few shops and some bars but the best ones are a good 15 min walk. There are a couple of lovely beaches which we found whilst out walking. There is lots of opportunities to go fit day trips to different areas on the island. We went to Lindos for the day, lovely place and beach and always a few degrees hotter. We would recommend a day trip out to Simi island, beautiful place and a nice two hour boat trip, we booked through our holiday provider but you can get it cheaper going to the local sea front. From the time we first entered the hotel to the time we departed we found nothing negative to say about this hotel, indeed we were impressed throughout our stay. We were seated in the very comfortable, clean and quiet lobby where we were offered a welcome drink and cool towels whilst we completed registration. We were then driven around the complex by Dmitri to our accommodation and given a guided introduction to the facilities. The facilities are excellent, the food very good quality and we ate very well for the whole two weeks. However what really makes this hotel exceptional are the staff.
